>>7156017I like Jim Lee just fine, the thing is that this Omega Red doesn't remind me of his style at all. Jim's thing is heavy shadows with crisp, defined edges--almost nothing like Omega Red's minimal shadowing with soft blended airbrushing. If they were trying to homage Lee's style, I feel like something like this would have hammered it home more appropriately--most of Omega Red should be black with red /white accented edges and sharply defined shadows. It would have stuck out like a sore thumb amongst other MLs of the time, sure, but if you're gonna do a homage, you probably wanna at least make sure people can see that it is one without being told.
