I'm not gonna bother going to the effort of quoting all the Subjectanon posts, but to be real, I think Bagley was just an inconsistent motherfucker. In images 1 and 4, we can clearly see the far side of his lower jaw and inside of his teeth--if this were indeed a flat mask, that would not be possible. In images 2 and 3, we can see the background through his mouth, which again, would not be possible with a flat mask. And so on and so on, there are many other images like this, and also many images that contradict this. It is my belief that Bagley's own lack of consistency created confusion for future artists and sculptors, which is why we have some interpretations of Carnage with a flat pink mouth and some with a full mouth interior.
