>>6405921I really like Technic, love how the modern sets feel so complete, with the new panels providing a lot of coverage that make the sets feel like the real things. Back in the day the panels had a lot of gaps and the sets felt very "skeletal"-like with their interiors exposed. It had its charm, but they didn't really look like "real" stuff that it was advertised to be like.
However, it kinda sucks that it's only vehicles based on real world machines. Back in early 2000s and late 90s Lego was doing some crazy things with Technic, like pic related - battle cars, dueling human-piloted machines... It sucks Lego doesn't try something like this anymore.
