If that's the case then Thwikk should be able to hold the Crossbow just fine if you do it right. While not 100% accurate to how it's really held, with the lever trigger crossbow, you have the figure hold it by the body up front with the rear hand working the trigger. Holding it like pic related gives it a great line of sight with the figure's eye and doesn't cause any stretching or warping to the hands. With Thwikk's wide head and hunched neck, it should rest right up against his cheek for a great aiming pose.
