>>10319506Somebody is lying about that email. Either the anon or BBTS. Problem is, BBTS has as much credibility as that anon.
That statement is an absolute lie as they're clearly popping up in the while in the NA market. The current issue is that the toyline only has 2 real distributors.
>TargetFrom my observation of the SoCal market and statements I've seen elsewhere, they completely botched the line with their Valentines Day promo. This caused them to temporarily moved their Sonic line out of their dedicated pegs and onto a shelf in the holiday section.
The Goo-Jit Zu line swooped in and took over their pegs in the Sonic section. Moose Toys must have struck some sort of deal with Target or something. The Heroes of Goo-Jit Zu line has started creeping up in every licensed toy, not just Sonic. Goo Sonic is also featured in the Target in-store displays. Goo-Jit Zu also expanded beyond Sonic and introduced "Gold" Sonic, Tails and Knuckles so that's probably why they assigned them more pegs.
By the time the Valentines day promo ended, the 4" Line had nowhere else to go. They got kicked out of the seasonal section and they couldn't go back to their peg since Goo-Jit Zu is still there.
My assumption is until we see the Goo-Jit Zu get bought out, we won't see the 4" pegs return unless Jakks raises a stink to Target.
>WalmartThey carry way more of the line, especially the 2.5" Line since they have them at check out. Unfortunately I live in an area where I only have 2 Wal-marts I can observe vs the 40 Targets. From what I've seen online, their major problem is that they sometimes only stock Sonic. The back of the cards show only Sonic and no other figures so they must be ordering some special Sonic only case. When they do order a regular wave, they're usually a few waves behind.
