>>7472670No, most the torso had enough separation for me to paint what I needed to paint without having to take it apart. I used Testors Model kit acrylic black paint. The collar is a separate piece which I never reattached because I didn't like the way that it stood straight up. Otherwise you just glue the front parts of the jacket back on and you're golden.
