Hi,I have some sources at Hasbro and I have some info to share with you guys.
So,Hasbro have gotten the Overwatch license,they have big plans for more Ultimat figures and they'll go with the Warcraft license too if they sell good.
They also want to do a video game line of different game licenses action figures from Nintendo,Sega,etc. Brian Goldner also had negotiation with The Pokemon Company for the license but they failed,they hope that the Wicked Cool Toys toy line will fail and get the license.
A new GI Joe action figure line based on the original cartoon will release next year to tie in with the Snake Eyes film.A new GI Joe cartoon is also in the works and it will be very different,it will rewrite the entire franchise and make it full scifi mystical.
Micronauts is set to release a new toy line and cartoon later this year,expect official reveal and trailer at SDCC. It will include both collector figures based on the IDW designs and kids figures.
Zoids will return later this year in the West,the figures are the same as Tomy's.Anime gets dubbed.
Visionaries,ROM and Mask are set for reboot in the upcoming years with new cartoons and movies. A D&D toy line is also in the works for 2020-2021.Brian Goldner also considers a Power Rangers animated series for
Netflix.In the end,I want to clarify something,there were rumours that Hasbro is preparing to sell WotC,it's not true. They plan to make both D&D and Magic The Gathering in big media franchises.That's all. Have a nice day.
