It only was after disney took over the toys took a nosedive in quality, and the movies themselves turned kids and everyone else off from buying most of the figures. Thats what TLJ line really fucked up with, while TFA and rogue one had soke interesting aliens or stormtroopers that people would but anyways for being cool, TLJ line is filled nothing with frumpy old women or the characters no one bought the first time and for some stupidity beyond our current knowledge refused to include any actually eye catching figures. I wonder if kathleen was pissed no one bought her mary sue star figure, and demanded the cooler figures get cut because in her mind now theyd be forced to buy the feminist characters, but she didnt realize that they would just end up not buying any of the toys at all.
