>>8375044>>8375606Maybe less fear of Hasbro, and more the fact that BFB started this and Magic Henshin as two versions of the idea of transforming anime girls. One project was a more traditional 3P Hasbro character, the other became Magic Henshin and with Magic Henshin really gaining attention to the point of getting official Japanese distribution, BFB probably wants to not be seen as just one of those toy companies making unlicensed Hasbro characters and would like you to judge Nicee as her own thing that's separate from Arcee, even though fans will recognize her as an Arcee. We've never seen a colored Nicee sample with the Arcee-style head. (The G1 head can be seen on the ground here, in a July photo of what's probably a production sample, so it does still exist. Not sure if this photoshoot is what you were referring to, but this is it's most recent appearance.)
