The Avatar figures were shit when they came out, because they were overpriced and had less articulation and fewer accessories than a GI Joe.
Single jointed knees, only swivel torso articulation, no wrists, heads are just swivels.
It's classic Mattel cheapass toy making.
OP's AMP Suit? The plastic on it was shit. The hip joints would break on them. The hip socket would crack, allowing the leg to just pop out without any friction.
All the joints on it are just swivels or hinge, allowing very little poseability. Compare that to something like the mech on the right here, which had ball joints and range extending ball-hinges in the arms.
Never buy Mattel crap.
