>>6947552Canada here, the last few times I've had to request missing parts, the response email either came after the parts had already arrived in the mail (!) or not at all. Not sure but it seemed like the system changed after MB was acquired by Matty, but the parts still get mailed out at leas. I had to deal with Matty directly one time, when the mirror universe Spock in my TOS transporter room set had a misaligned beard and the parts request system redirected me cuz that particular set wasn't set up for that, I guess. Still, they responded fairly promptly and sent out a replacement.
From when I first started collecting MB stuff to the present day, think I've had to make about a dozen missing or damaged parts requests total. This is spread over about 8 years and just about every Halo and CoD set to come out in that time period, and rarely was it for more than one part. The one exception was the lights&sounds Cobra I got from TRU, it was missing an entire bag's worth of parts, but instead of going through the painstaking process of identifying and requesting them all I went back to the store and exchanged it. Dunno why some people seem to have the worst luck with missing parts, though I wonder sometimes at what goes on in MB factories. The most recent request I had to make was for two of the same missing part in the TOS Klingon Battlecruiser set, which instead had two extra of a slightly similar piece that was nonetheless unusable as a substitute. I've had at least one set come with extra parts that weren't even related to the set's inventory.
