New year, new project. Originally I was going to begin a series of IP 2002 builds and MOCs to share with you guys but since it hasn't snowed yet I've decided to go a different route.
Today we travel back to 1994 and take a look at Spyrius!
This is a space faction I haven't really finished collecting but I do have most of their sets. It's also a faction that I "grew up" with since I received the smallest set from this faction in 1994.
So with all that intro out of the way let's have a look at the Saucer Centurion.
This is their largest ship and quite an interesting one. Not only is it pretty interestingly shaped (we won't see this sort of shape until the later alien themes of the 90s) but I really enjoy the dual canopy concept.
The set comes with two crewmembers: one human astronaut and one droid. The faction overall makes a lot of use of droids/robots and I really think that's a unique and interesting aspect of Spyrius.
