>>9684910Yeah, the ab plate is an awful design decision (though I guess that's more on GW than Bandai). It either looks like a big ol' gut, or it makes him look strangely naked. The chain even covers up the hip joint, so he kind of appears to be wearing a big blue onesie. The scroll and bone hanging right there at the bottom of the plate like flaccid hogs doesn't help either.
I think the plate might limit his hips' forward movement a bit too, so a lot of the poses they have him in have this stiff look, like he's clamping his ass cheeks together trying to hold in a turd. Geez, what a mess of a figure. I can only hope that this sells SO monumentally poorly that it convinces Bandai to change their approach to the license.
