The hands, gun, and chest were all identical on both figures, so there was no need to swap anything but the part itself. Though the G1 gun had the barrel fin on the top, and the G2 had it attached upside down. I've found a number of photos where it's one way or other other, both on the KO and the original GT version, so who knows?
I don't have any pics of the G2 in devastator mode because I didn't want to display them right now or spend an hour transforming them all again. Whoopsie!
