>>10137532I'd say the Roadblock retro accessory pack is the most impressive right out of the box. It comes with the M2, a backpack frame, a removable ammo box, an ammo belt, a tripod, a backpack frame, and an assault pistol with a removable cassette magazine. This is absolutely the Roadblock I had in my head and it all comes together great. He also comes with a little black rubber band to use as a sling for the assault pistol.
Now for the downside-- I was stupid and perched him up somewhere that I really shouldn't have, in a pose that was not the most balanced, and he fell off of a book shelf. The M2 rifle broke in 2 places, and it was entirely my own fault, but it was a reminder that these are resin, not plastic. Fortunately I was able to repair it with a tiny drill, pins, superglue and accelerant. I think it's probably stronger now than it was before but I ain't gonna test it. Just take care of your toys if you get resin accessories.
I also had to heat up the hole in the back of his suspenders so that the peg on the backpack frame would fit through. That was a nuisance but I'll pin that one on Hasbro for making the hole in his suspenders too small.
The last quibbble is that you have to position the backpack frame just right or it might scuff against Roadlocks' fanny pack and leave a little bit of brown paint wear on it. Not really a big issue, although it'd be nice if they had accounted for it better in the frame's design.
