Transforming toys are meant to be played with, to be shifted from one form to another. To appreciate the engineering and enjoy the physical process of manipulating the parts from one to the other, and savor the aesthetics of both forms.
When a company makes a transformation that takes 10 minutes to do and is not fun, then the spirit is lost. I much prefer the simpler earlier designs to what we are getting now.
