https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xz1H9iGn6A ), then yes, you do. You have to cut the inside eye pocket out and "shave" it out as close to the eye lids / opening as possible. Then you have to cut the head open - I don't reroot most of my RH customs, so I try to find a place in in the rooting where the space between the rows are larger, usually close to the middle of the head. Then make an opening large enough so you can get the eyes and your fingers inside. You can either just cut a long cut you bend open, or cut a piece out of the head. Remember to secure any escaped hairs inside the head, as cutting the parting will set some loose. The hairs inside RH heads are not glued, but braided to keep them attached to the head.
