https://www.hexbug.com/contactWhat I've learned to do is ONLY use the bare minimum dexterity required to attach parts letting stressed parts relax before gently wiggling them out. If they still don't budge, toss them into the sink, plug it and fill it with some nice hot water to make the plastic more malleable.
I've had to do some maintenance on mine, but I'm into gunpla so it was pretty natural. The toys are nearly fully realized so it's a shame about the quality control, it will not improve on it's on so please contact Hexbugs and make them aware.
