Also, hand painted prototypes can be rough as fuck. A lot of sculptors use painters acrylics from tubes, in order to save time to get the colors on the figure. Not the same paints people in the gunpla and model threads use, where the THIN YOUR PAINTS mantra exists. Prototypes aren't meant to be closely scrutinized and why there's signs all over display cases saying those aren't final production figures.
