UV degradation adds sun bleaching for a less uniform and more aged look, scratches add lines and dents to bricks. These look best on old sets and retired colors, but too many scratches and it looks like shit. Always keep stud logo on.
There's special renderer colors for bricks at the bottom, these glow or illuminate the scene for a prettier render. Also while it can do very realistic results, it's limited by the quality of the bricks' models. If you are doing small builds or zoom in too much the low-poly elements will show, specially visible in arms and helmets and circles.
