>>5828708You call a repainted brawl toy accurate?
He doesn't even look like nosecone in the slightest, strafe and lightspeed are the ONLY toy accurate ones
>>1) Takara toys literally cost twice as much or moreIts because WE, the western consumer have to IMPORT it from another country, that's why it cost so much more, why do people keep sperging on about price when WE have to ship something INTENDED for another audience, THEY have to pay similar prices for HASBRO stuff because they ALSO have to import.
>2) The two companies use the same designers, the same molds, and the same factoriesNo shit sherlock, what is is fucking new?
>3) Hasbro figures are completed up to a year before Takara ones; Takara has more time to go in for additional retooling in the rare occasion they choose to since they can offset the cost of retail with increased prices.More time to fix things, why is this a point to argue with?
>>4)Prices of individual items work differently in Japan than the US; individual items don't have to fit into rigid pricepoint, so paint and retooling doesn't have to fit within a single budget. Again, no fucking shit
And the new dedicated hands are shit since they can't pose, the feet, while designed fine (and I question why takara hasn't started using them on their own) is because most CW/UW toys share a common problem, the ratchets are limited, the most dynamic look is the bot standing them like some strong man, limiting the range of what those feet can do (which to me now that I think about it may be why takara is reluctant on using them, they know the combiner ratchets only go so far), and those hands and feet wouldn't cost that much more.
As the owner of shitorion (got it on sale thinking I could give hasbro a chance) the new hands and feet, if any budget went into them it would be after thought especially on the hands (they're not even girly they're children's size) and feet (mine even clicks out so she flops around if too much load is on them)
