I finished the chipping on the hull (except for the front plate, which I'll do next. Used a 1.50 can of hairspray and it worked much better than Vallejo chipping fluid. I did the underside of the hull first, which is why the chipping there is much larger- it takes a while to get used to how much force you have to apply to make only small chips. The olive drab was vallejo primer acrylic, but i'm interested to see if I can get better results using something with a little more bite like tamiya acrylics.
