Your little fantasy is too stupid and anyone of normal intelligence would know how stupid it is if they know what army biulders are and if something like Galactus would sell as much as one of the most popular villains ever.
And i doubt exec and manager working at Hasbro is as stupid as you. If some project lead or marketer believes they'd get as many sales from Galactus as a Sentinel, they'd be squashed down fast. These Kickstarters probably aren't even seen as important by penny pinching execs and would take any excuse to cancel this, because the time and resources wasted on them could be used on developing products that can be sold in the millions in the mass market.
As for that cap, i don't even know why they even have that.
Can someone explain how something that is made to order should have capped preorders? The only reason i can see that existing is to make it seem like they're doing something about scalpers and i can see that as toothless pandering, if no one even ordered that many Sentinels (anyone claim they did?).
