>>7053938I just got another set because they dropped back down to like 22 for a 5 pack on amazon. They're VERY nice for that price, but they've got a lot of negatives. Even just using the shortest arms makes for something really tall, so they're good for flying stuff but you can't really use them for holding figuarts just standing up. I think they're made for much taller doll stuff, so that's probably why they're so tall. Something like the little notch figma stands added so the arm can scissor further would have been really nice for 1/12 stuff. Also the ends are 5mm and come with adapters for the more popular 3mm holes, but then you've got like an inch and a half hanging off the back.
They're also a lot of parts that fit extremely tightly, and that's a little sketchy for how thin a lot of the parts are. I've had one tip break out of the three I've had for a couple years, and those are the one thing they don't include spares for. That said, it does have the bonus of making the actual clips that hold the figure very tight, probably the best of all the stands I've dealt with. Finally, the length combines with the general thinness to make them pretty wobbly. I'll put something on there and it'll keep swaying for like 30 seconds.
TLDR; they're made to just act as a brace for taller stuff, so they have some problems with 6" toys.
