Started on an Airfix late b-17G that's being converted into an early. So far it's not bad; fit is pretty good though the interior has basic detail so I added some bits here and there. One major issue is a large gap where I added the large styrene sheet in the radio compartment that's still WIP with the ribs. Don't know what airfix was thinking but it's pretty visible from the top window, but I love adding scratch built detail so it's no issue. After I'm finished everything except the cockpit will be painted in aluminum
