I also try lacquer paints, although better, but still chips. I eventually just gave up and only paint fine detail like bullet brass and scopes on my LA kits. I personally like to pose my stuff a lot unlike the majority of gunpla collectors. It's less stressful knowing my unpainted stuff wont stain or chip.
