>>9730146I can't shake the feeling this is all somekind of joke. That's not Bionicle, that's a Hero Factory with a Bionicle head. They played it extremely safe with G2 2015. The aesthetic is all wrong, it looks clean and glossy Bionicles are supposed to look weird and angular and full of detail and textures and theirs none of that in the 2015 Masters.
That's why it feels like one big joke, like "don't even bother with the 2015 masters, that's just hero factory, the 2016 wave is what you want."
But I know for a fact it's hidious. There's no way someone in their right mind could call the 2016 wave beautiful. But I can almost see it, my autism is not advanced enough, but I can sense it. To fully appreciate the 2016 wave requires maximum bionicle schizo and I'm just not there yet.
But I can see now how they become Holy Grails and extremely valuable to the hardcore. It's like the perfect storm as I said.
I'm not ready for a 2016 bionicle and buying a 2015 one makes me feel bad like i'm just settling.
