Found some more of my stained popsicle stick stuff while looking for something else. This was a Christmas gift for a fan of Snoopy. Made her a little diorama. Not the greatest photo, this was two Christmases ago.

You just cut the same size sticks, as many as you need, while listening to music or watching a show and then you separate them into three batches and stain them with different color stains, unless you want it all the same color which makes it easier. Try taking a six inch by six inch piece of foamcore and make a regular wooden floor. Halfway through it you will see if it's something you like. Form there Bob's your uncle.
