It's been a while since I last bought a toy and to be honest, this is the only figure I adquired this year. Figma caught my attention because of their focus in anime aesthetics over anything else and how simple yet effective their engineering is. I honestly can see me doing a decent stop motion with the tools she comes with and, surprisingly, I've seen a lot of people here saying she doesn't have a lot of range when I really have been able to pose her in the catwalk with ease.
The paintwork has no issues, it came exactly like the promo images and there is no QC issues regarding it, unlike some Mafex or Marvel Legends (which are the only things I kinda can compare this figure to).
My only problem with it is the hair, it limits the range when attached to the stand because it locks the head looking forward. Though, I honestly can't imagine a way to execute that long ass mass of anime hair in PVC for a 1:12 articulated toy. It would be better if the two under layers that connect to the inside had come with the same flexible pvc the top layer came with, wouldn't have to dwell to much with lower poses if it wasn't for that.
>>10207278I'm one of those le old iron man snobs and I'd like to have that figure. Unfortunately, I despise how cheap the armor looks. I get the point of the 'glossyness' reflecting light as it was metal, but it looks so unaesthetic to me.
Probably will buy...Some day...maybe...
