I'm almost done with the plate-cutting part of this project (after this, just have to do the side skirts and the shield). But since there were some voids that were 1mm thick and I need some thicker plating for my groupbuild entry, I went and bought some 1mm plating, since I didn't want to cut four times the amount to cement together.
What's the most efficient way to cut through this stuff that won't bore me to death halfway through? The section cut out here was done with way too many hobby knife passes and then finishing off the remainder with nippers, but it was really easy since I just needed rectangles. This void is a bit more complex, I'm not going to fill the whole thing but I do need to get into some pretty small crevices. Do I just keep using a hobby knife, do I invest in a small saw, any advice would be helpful.
