>>8081593There's a book about their "genesis." Title is actually Kaiyodo Genesis. I have it somewhere, glanced over it a little. But most of this I saw on Japanese wiki and the live stream shows they used to do. And I went to one of their exhibits once. No idea about English readings.
Yeah they really got public attention with their Kinder Surprise equivalent figurines because they were far superior to what was expected of the time. Sold insane amounts. And I think they started the secret figure in assortment thing. I might be wrong.
