>>6322351It's okay anon, I'd rather tell you what I know so you can make an informed decision.
Honestly, the Mafex troopers are my 'stand there and look good' figures of the bunch. Their knees are quite weak so they don't hold action poses so good, and the ankle joints have loosened over time which doesn't help. Probably the most annoying aspect of the figures is the shoulder pads, Medicom has a bad habit of attaching shoulder pads to the upper torso section, so whenever you move the arms out pads flare out which looks bad. The head and neck are also quite limiting to what you can achieve when posing.
I know I've just told you a bunch of reasons why you shouldn't get them but I still enjoy having them in my collection, they have a good height without looking like skinny anime characters (Revoltech) and they can stand next to Vader without being dwarfed (Figuarts). If you can get them cheap like I did, you should definitely pick up one or two, just don't expect crazy poses.
Also, is this the photo you're referring to?
