>>10241802>typically has much less articulation when there is any at all.Rose Biollante's two large leaves both move in in the movie. These obviously cant have any movement in minifigs and vinyls, but the Super7 figure is supposed to be a 7-inch scale articulated figure. They could easily have them in a ball joint
>Or cut joints, yes
>which look awful I'm buying an articulated figure not a statue, I expect the sculpt to be broken up to a degree for said articulation, and ball joint tendrils are infinitely better than rotting plastic that rips and bendy wires that break.
>and get loose quickly?Do you own the original Biollante release? Was that a problem for that figure? I've only had the SCV Biollante for 2 years, but I've had no issues with her joints loosening up on me.
>The shininess doesn't bother meit bothers me. People complained endlessly about the glossiness of the first release of the SHMA Kong and Bandai fixed it in the second release. Not wanting your $80-100 figure to look like a shiny plastic toy, especially when Super7 made the bold claim that the line would be the "monsterarts of the west" is completely reasonable.
>It's not like we're flooded with toys of this formthis is the only reason I'm buying it. Bandai almost certainly is never going to give us a Rose Biollante, and who knows how long it'll be before Mezco actually gets around to doing their super-articulated line. It doesn't look good, but there's basically no alternative.
