So we all know Zvezda used to have an atrocious reputation and it was with good reason. I bought a MiG-3 kit a few years back not realizing it was one of the old terrible kits. I decided to assemble it as an airbrush test mule, just so you can see how garbage it is.
I wanna be fair here - I did the same amount of pre-assembly work, sanding off seams, I used Tamiya thin and pushed the parts properly together, held the wings in a rig to keep it all up to par. I just made

The gaps are obviously atrocious but look at the fuselage twist. It's not even close to straight, it's not poorly angled wings it's legitimately twisted. Thank god they got some new kit designers
