Again, go look at what GI Joe, Justice League were doing with minorities and how smoothly it was done.
GI Joe had a shit ton of minority characters who were stars of the comic/cartoon. It was a giant retcon, but was extremely popular for a lot of different reasons. Not because of multi-culturalism or any of that bullshit, but because it was genuinely good.
JL/U was set up with years of established continuity, and that naturally allowed them to set in already established minorities that actually fit within the story.
Nothing forced.
You can't just switch shit and expect people to like it, and that's something so many creators get wrong when trying to shove their marysues and other stupid shit into their creations.
Forced shit gets hated.
So you can't just have Jar Jar Abrams deciding to allow minorities in and expect things just to work out through virtue signalling.
You need actual minorities being involved in the creation process for popular media and this in turn inspires more minorities to want to be more than just fucking actors and sports stars making money for their owners.
