Sort of related, I have this constant love/hate relationship with the VC figures. Like, they look good and I love me some generic troops and troop builders. But their small size and often times awkward articulation just turn me off. The 501st set for instance is so short compared to other 1:18 stuff I don't really want to mix lines. Meanwhile I just got one of the knew Dark Troopers from the Nevarro Cantina set and while his height is *just* tall enough to work with other figures....he uses the worst type of hip joint so that he's entirely no fun to mess with.
I never understood how Hasbro could at the same time release stuff like PoC/Retaliation Joes, or even figures like the new Retro Stalker, who are just fantastic, while at the same time putting out these VC figures who can't even properly sit in a chair. I would have bought every single one of those Troop Builder packs Pulse puts out, but I know I'll be completely disatisfied with the figures for the price I'm payin for em.
