So army building would be easier and less expensive, but also larger figures could come more articulated, instead of limited like the trolls who more than likely have fewer joints because of weight issues.
Also also, it means they can produce more, because of lower costs and less space needed to ship/store. Sure, the cost saving per figure isn't much for us, but when they're producing hundreds/thousands, that cost/space saving adds up.
Did i mention that it would be easier to produce larger sized figures and they'd have more articulation? Also also also play/dio sets
