Their only loss was from them shedding their licensed toy productions, which is a huge drop when they no longer had mass market lines like wrestling and LotR products to sell, but this is because they were seeking buyers for their Marvel license. They were winding down to becoming just a niche collector toy company, sorta like DCC is to DC.
Toy Biz only started making smaller BAFs because production in China was becoming more expensive, but they had seen the writing on the wall since 2004, hence seeking to just licensing out their shit. But they still continued being quality up til they were forced to cut back, hence large BAFs being made after the 2005 price jumps in China.
