I think this dude is the perfect example of both good and bad parts integration. The tail is seamless as a part of the alt-mode, as easy as it is to disguise a sword as a mechanical wolf tail, and works great in bot mode too. Meanwhile the gun is fucking oversized as shit (which is more on the boatgun gimmick of the line and not the engineering), and while it looks okay in bot mode, it's just a gigantic fucking thing you put on top of the wolf and try to pretend it's not there. Or more likely you just put it to the side to take the photo.
One has at least a modicum of creativity, the other is just "fuck it".
