>>7344551I think you're mixing up the fact that nobody wanted to see Spider-mans origin again, since it would have been the third time in a relatively short period of time for an already well known character. For characters like Antman, Dr. Strange and Captain Marvel? No one has a problem with seeing their beginnings, especially since they're characters that most of the generally public aren't aware of until their trailers hit.
But as someone else has said, even if these rumours are true, I don't really see this as a cinematic universe. Red isn't going to be meeting the kid from Detective Pikachu and the stories aren't going to cross over, it just lets them use the same universe/designs with the same familiarity and established rules. It's more Fantastic Beasts/Harry Potter than the Avengers.
