I got this for my 8th birthday and it was the most expensive toy I had at the time. The amount of adventures I took Han, Luke, and Chewie on were numerous. Two years later, we were moving and my mom and I were going to the new state first because I had to begin school and my dad was going to arrive the next month. Because we traveled in a small car, I could only bring a small box of toys with me which were a few Star Wars toys. When my dad finally came, I found out he ended up throwing away the big box of toys I had packed which included the Falcon and I was completely devastated. All I had left from it is the ramp and a strut that somehow made it into the box of figures I brought with me which I still have now and I think it is the reason why I still have trouble getting rid of toys to this day.
