There is a difference between TT and Hasbro beyblades. Hasbro beyblades are MUCH cheaper and available at your local big box store which is a big convenience factor and savings.
Some people (myself included) do prefer TT beyblades, but i'm also willing to pay like $30 + shipping for a single nice and hefty beyblade. To each their own. For what it's worth TT aren't super expensive in JP, like $12 for this model after tax/shipping I guess if you lived in Japan.
