>>6056840Okay, after shaving plastic in some areas, I managed to isolate what's jamming the transformation. However, it seems like one of those "I'm just that lucky" random issue so I won't be posting a fix.
The general gist of it is that the black coating (on clear yellow plastic) was like half a millimeter too thick in one spot, jamming the mechanism.
If you didn't see my posts like 2~3 threads back to know, Kickback has zero black plastic. All the black parts you see are entirely cast in that clear yellow then coated in black paint.
I'm sure the engineers have factored in the black coating in their design but the tolerances of these paint coats are hard to control. So far I've encountered an uncomfortably-tight neck swivel and this shoulder tab issue all due to the paint coat. Hope you guys have better luck.
