>>6096718According to the comments on that blog it was a mail-order castle with no specific brand, unfortunately there probably isn't a way to get one now unless you luck out on ebay or a garage sale.
I never had a proper castle as a kid myself, more recently through garage sale finds I eventually got a few boxes of Siege games (known as Weapons & Warriors elsewhere) and have used the pieces to improvise one. I also once built a castle out of popsicle sticks and glue with my brother, it was pretty neat with towers, working gate and a siege tower but it took up so much space we ultimately had to move it to a shed outside where it rotted. Someday I want to build another, this time modular so it can be taken apart and stored better.
Oh yeah there was one other "castle" of sorts I had, back in the 90s when Pogs were all the rage there were potato chip companies that included plastic pogs in their bags of snacks, some kinds were made with indents like cogs so you could stick them together, I got enough to built a decent-sized fort and many battles were fought over it. I only use them sparingly now as repeatedly blasting the walls apart has worn the indents but I might have to dig them out sometime again.
