Someone at my local target put all the teen dolls above a $40 price tag, that was meant for something else. As for are they worth the extra $10 I would personally say yes if you're a fan of these cute little soft dolls. They are double the size, they have full rooted hair which the $20 regular ones don't get. Their hats have embroidery, rhinestones, sequences, while other hats are fluffy. They have well painted cute shoes, and I don't know what the heck they put in their arms and legs to make them posable, but it really makes them heavy so they feel like nice heavy dolls in your hands. I really wish they came with a stand, especially at a $30 price point, but I just put mine on a porcelain doll stand, and I love her.
