So in the end all this proves is that OP's "modern eyes" statement is all just trolling hyperbole as the overall improvement of figures hasn't changed all that much since the 2000's. But to be able to see that, you'd have to be be around during the 90's, 80's, 70's, etc. Something that OP clearly isn't old enough to knoe.
