Taking the discussion back though, I think a truly gigantic sauropods is not feasible because of the amount of jointing necessary for the neck and tails itself, unless they go with the bendy wire rubber skin route but even then I dont think such experiment have been done.
They are interesting enough, but don't have that much of a mass appeal compared to Rexes and raptors. A fully grown sauropod is pretty much invincible, not even a pack of giganotosaurus have a prayer to take down argentinosaurus. So what's left for little 8 years old bobby - your average kiddo to play with? He aint gonna play with his 3ft long sauropod just grazing and eating trees, he's gonna have humans getting chased by T-rex and then spiderman vs. t-rex
