The reversed tail configuration is such a puzzling engineering choice when the original setup worked perfectly in the original and even the MP. Keeping the spikes when he barely even used it as a claw weapon in the show just makes the choice even weirder in hindsight (i.e. he used it more like a joust/shield that can occasionally fire missiles).
I'm still excited for the figure though. It also helps that it's purposefully a more modern take of the original design.
