>>10135889Still haven't started on the Balrog yet, but I've been looking at some images of the unreleased Toy Biz Balrog project for inspiration. It's a real shame it never got released. The Neca one was a lot more impressive although at 14", the Toybiz one would have still been the centerpiece of the Toy Biz line.
It's a much more realistic target to shoot for than the Neca one although I have a lot of ideas for how I can spruce mine up. I'm hoping I can cut a hole in the back plate on my Venom figure to make room for some electronic goodies, because that would be a ton of fun. I don't know exactly how he's held together though. His chest is so big that there must be a significant amount of unused space in it I think, though. I'd also need to sculpt up some flames in Z-brush and probably print them in clear yellow resin.
