>>7188646>Is anyone trying for the Snow White "Premiere Designer" doll tomorrow? I honestly forgot it was tomorrow. I think I might just opt out of this whole line. Some years I collect the whole line, and others I just chary pick. Last year I only got Ariel/Triton and Rapunzel/Rider. Killed me not picking up Cruella, but I really felt that charging $130 for just one Mid-range quality doll, and a few cheap Happy Meal quality dog figures was abusive. I think I was more interested in the Wedding Designer line that never happened. I like it when my movie dolls look as close as they can to what they looked like in the film. If a few things are added to glam them up a little I can over look it, but it's almost like they are selling self aware Disney Princess dolls that know that they work for Disney, kinda like what Wreck it Ralph is doing with the Princesses. I'm not fond of the idea of jaded self aware princesses that know they are nothing more than Disney property/Disney slaves. It kills the magic for me. Someone here once said that Disney park cast members that dress up as Princesses jokingly refer to themselves as "Strippers for Children" as they get all caked up each morning, and pretended to be someone they aren't while pretending they enjoy getting sticky hugs from smelly children. I also used to think that $80 was kinda pushing, and when rumors surfaced that the price would go up to $90 or even $100 I started losing even more interest. The new $110 price finished killing it for me.
